My meanderings about politics, space exploration, cars, cats, tech things and whatever else strikes my fancy. To the current occupant of the White House, we will not be taken into war on anyone's leash.
It seems that someone has grown the semblance of a spine. Paul Ryan has doggedly supported all of Trumps bad behavior. Finally he is saying things that are reasonable.
This means there is no Witch Hunt.
I believe when Trump said that he can pardon himself he crossed a line. The justice system is very clear no one can judge themselves. We are not in a monarchy we are in a constitutional government run by three branches.
Trump thinks he’s King and there’s going to be a time when there will be a metaphorical “Off with the head”, and I hope soon.
I vote that the new hashtag should be #ReleaseTheTruth.
I don’t have numbers to back this up but I’m sure if you had asked Republicans after 911 if they trusted the FBI they would resoundly say yes at least 90% would say yes. In the latest poll only 39% of Republicans trust the FBI. That is the damage that this president has done to our country in the last 2 years. He has sown the mistrust throughout the government and has put unqualified individuals into positions of power and influence. You’ll be remembered, but he’ll be remembered like no other president has been in the past, a dark stain on the American historical line. The only Silver Lining, is that he has not influenced the Millennials and they are Our Hope For America to return to what it was before 45.
The Republican Party are Masters at messaging. They are much better than the Democrats because we let everything show and we are transparent. This is a sign that all the Kumbaya we are hearing from the Republicans is not in fact what is simmering underneath the messaging. Donald Trump is not a popular man with a large percentage of Republicans. His economic message is anything but conservative. Even his social issues don’t match well with the Republican Party. I think as the days creep to November we will see more and more schisms that are created in the Republican Party AVB http://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news/politics/washington-state-gop-convention-backs-cruz-over-trump/
